Wow i am so pleased to have finally made 200 likers.
It's a good feeling.

So some housework needs to be done.
Firstly.
Well as promised once we hit 200, there would be free postage for next 5 days. So from noon today until noon Monday (QLD time) all orders placed in this time will not pay any postage.
Secondly.
Would like to congratulate Kylee Mapleson on being our 200th liker. This was a surprise bonus prize giveaway just to say thanks for all the support.

Lovely Day

Well as you all know yesterday I was heading to Cairns to have a sticky beak at the Christmas Craft fair that was held at the showgrounds.
It turned out to be a great day.
Before i left home i was feeling a bit down and double & triple thinking & questioning myself whether i have what it takes to make Homemade Gifts Bazaar a success. By a success i mean are my goods that i make good enough. But i love to make and majority of the time makes me de-stress, so off we went and in back of my mind the self doubt was floating around.
First went and got some goodies from the dance shop for the concert which is on in less than 3 weeks. EEEK.
So after making our gold coin donation to the Leukaemia Foundation we decided which way were going and headed off looking at all the beautiful goods that so many talented people had made. With over 130 stalls to check out we had plenty to see.
So along the first aisle who do we come across but Aunty Deb and friend selling beautiful handmade cards.
Then as we continue along we come across a stall with a name that seems familiar, kept walking but it got the better of me and so i went back and yes i was right. I finally got to put a face to the name of my lovely Australian ribbon supplier, it was so worth the trip down. After having a little chat and Mary-Ann giving me an amazing confidence boost by commenting & complimenting on the clips the girls were wearing we continued on our way. Thanks so much mate!
So the ideas that i have in my head for 2011 will now still be going ahead. Many new & exciting items to come as well as some old favourites.

Note to self stop doubting yourself old girl.

Time is against me as per usual

Some days it seems the clock is in fast forwards lately. I would say more often than not. Maybe i am trying to take on too much but if I don't set myself huge goals i wont push myself is my belief anyone else do that? With assignments due, many craft projects on the go, a house that seems to not want to stay clean, (missG has something to do with that i think) and now being term 4 there is always something going on either at school or dancing. So it's the weekend again which means out the door with go, with many different bags but amongst them is the most important - my travelling sewing bag which is always full of a project or two. So on that i will wish you all a great weekend.

Yes i am finally getting some of the Christmas goodies uploaded. Still work in progress but at least some are going up right now as i type. Thats if telstra & FB decide to play nice.

Keeping Busy

Just quick check-in.
missP is about to make some yummy scrambled eggs for us. She has been an amazing help this weekend, doing lots of little jobs so I can make lots of goodies, especially while i watch Bathurst today. WHAT A GOOD GIRL!
Hoping new shipment of supplies come earlier rather than later.
Over and out from the Tablelands where the weather is not the best, overcast & misty showers with some wind thrown in. At least it's not as bad as south east QLD - our thoughts are with those who have been affected by the terrible storms down that way.

Dear poor blog,
I am sorry for neglecting you once again. But this time i think we should lay all the blame on that brother of mine. Thankfully he is going to be fine but after a very big scare where we thought we were going to lose him after a serious accident, he is on the mend with an attitude to match. So now i am behind not only with sewing & craft items but also study. I will get there and need lots of inspiration. So goal is to get as many likers as i can. At 50 likers will sneak peek of Christmas range and @ 100 likers will put all members name in a hat. (i'm sure there is an online version these days). the winning name will win a set of our new Christmas clips to be delivered asap. Anyway its that time of the afternoon where children need me and so i must run out the door and go and collect the youngest from Pre-prep. & continue to repeat to myself FOCUS FOCUS you will get there.

Poor ignored blog

Just quick note to blog.
No I haven't forgotten you but where do i start.
Have you got all night to hear this. HAHA its okay i wont bore you all with my tidbits for now. I'l save that for later when im bored. No idea when that will be though. So quick check in. All good. Heaps going on & i never seem to be in one place long, but its okay i have my on the go craft box with me. Hope to get some pictures up of some new stuff by end of weekend. So until then. Cheers.

Forgot to blog

Life has been fun but crazy. The one thing i continually forget to do is update blog - note to self remember to write daily or at least every few days. Quick overview since last post, I'm sure i will leave something out. Participated in 1st CHA craft swap. Got paired with a lovely lady named Becky from Victoria. Fingers crossed she likes her mixed bag of goodies i sent. With eldest on school holidays for last two weeks bit behind but will catch up now especially after going to Spotlight today and got some new fabrics which have me inspired to sew sew. Anyway finally worked out the FB problems needed to create page not group but its all good now i even worked out how to put a link on blog - feeling very technologically switched on tonight. ;-)
